FG Charges Emefiele On Six Counts Of Supposed N1.6bn Acquisition Misrepresentation

The Federal Government has arraigned the immediate past Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr Godwin Emefiele, on a six-count charge bordering on alleged procurement.
The first charge, which was 20 builds up to the tune of N6.5 billion, has been decreased to six, to the tune N1.6 billion. Emefiele is the main respondent in the new charge.

Equity Hamza Muazu of the Government Capital Domain High Court dismissed the case till November 22 for administering on the bail use of Emefiele and November 28 for the beginning of preliminary.
In the meantime, he requested that Emefiele be remanded at the Kuje Correctional Center.
