Canada Police Probe Video Cautioning Not To Fly Air India

Canada’s federal police are investigating a warning in videos circulating online not to fly Air India starting November 19, the transportation minister said Thursday.

"We treat each danger in a serious way, particularly when it concerns carriers," Transportation Priest Pablo Rodriguez told correspondents in Ottawa.

The Regal Canadian Mounted Police, he added, "is doing an examination."
The recordings, posted web-based somewhat recently, include Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the general guidance for the US-based Sikhs for Equity, which advocates the production of a different Sikh state cut out of India.

He cautions Sikhs in the video: "Don't fly Air India after November 19, your lives might be in harm's way."
