President Bola Tinubu says the country cannot continue servicing debt with about 90 percent of its revenue.
He expressed that to work on the situation with the country, his organization expected to make testing changes.
Tinubu regretted that assuming the improvement perseveres, the country would be set out toward obliteration.
"It's a disgrace not to have power for most of homes in Nigeria. Neediness is definitely not something dishonorable however it isn't adequate. We should expel it," Tinubu said at the initial service of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) yearly gathering in Abuja on Sunday.
"Might we at any point keep on adjusting outside obligation with more than 90% of our income? it is a way to obliteration, we can't proceed with that. We need to pursue hard choices."
He expressed that to work on the situation with the country, his organization expected to make testing changes.
As indicated by the previous Lagos Governor', despite the fact that underlying changes might be excruciating, Nigeria should find the hard ways to set the country on the way of development.
"We can't have the country we want without the changes we have started. It is excruciating toward the start, in the short and medium term, yet we should do how we need to take this country to its extraordinary predetermination.
"There's no need to focus on you and it's actually not necessary to focus on me. It is about our ages yet unborn, for whom we should give an extraordinary and prosperous nation," Tinubu's media helper Ajuri Ngelale's Sunday proclamation cited him as saying.
The previous Lagos State Governors similarly let the social event know that Nigerians need to change their demeanor to make the nation incredible.
"You are learned. I need to learn. For what reason would we say we are so honored and we are as yet inadequate? We should have a difference in mentality and a really impact of our outlook. We blame our country and its past chiefs," he said.
"We grumble a ton of the past. Is that the arrangement? No! Allow us to look forward not entirely set in stone! God has given us what we want. We should buckle down with assurance to make our nation incredible and it starts with you who are situated here with me."
