Akpata Steps Aside From Law Firm To Pursue Political Ambition
Akpata recently joined the Labour Party in Edo State and expressed interest to contest the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
The Immediate-past President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Olumide Akpata, has stepped aside from Templars, a leading law firm where he served as Senior Partner.
An assertion by the firm dated August 24, 2023 expressed the previous NBA President officially told different accomplices and the executives of the firm of his choice to partake in dynamic governmental issues and in accordance with the company's administration conventions, it was concurred that he moved to one side from the firm with impact from Thursday, August 31, 2023.
The firm said this will empower him completely center around his venture of contributing towards country building.
