NNPC Affirms Fire Incident At Warri Refinery

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company, NNPC Limited, has confirmed a fire incident at the Warri Refinery and Petrochemical Company Limited in Delta State, South-South Nigeria.


The public oil firm, in a post on its true X handle, notwithstanding, made sense of that the fire was minor and contained. It stressed that the incident wouldn't influence the continuous recovery of the treatment facility.
The organization said, "This evening, at around 15:02hrs, there was a minor fire episode at the cooling pinnacle of Warri Processing plant and Petrochemical Organization Restricted.
"The fire which happened because of progressing welding movement at the highest point of the cooling pinnacle won't influence the processing plant recovery project conveyance plan.

"NNPC Restricted security officials at the processing plant acted right away and extinguished the fire at around 15:30hrs; predictability has since been reestablished."

The NNPCL said it would keep on sticking to the best security guidelines in the entirety of its business activities.
